Laszlo Nagy: Ligetvari to get a chance, Terzic to leave Veszprem after 11 years

The vice-president of Hungarian Handball Federation and director of Telekom Veszprem, Laszlo Nagy, praised performance of some young players during Men’s EHF EURO 2020 where Hungarians were close to the semi-final clashes although they ended 9th at the end.

In talk with 24.hu, Nagy said that young left back Patrik Ligetvari will get the chance in Veszprem from the next season and will have more space for that because contract with experiences Bosnian defensive specialist Mirsad Terzic won’t be extended:

– “He’ll play, it’s not a question. Mackovsek doesn’t extend, Terzic does not extend, so two players are replaced by Patrik, there are plenty of matches ahead of him”, said Nagy.

Mackovsek goes to Pick Szeged, while Mirsad Terzic’s new destination is still unknown.

Terzic came to the club in summer 2009 from RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko.
