Emmanuel Mayonnade to stay in Metz: “With him on the bench we can go to the end of the world”

The World Champion with the team of Netherlands,  Emmanuel Mayonnade, will continue his journey with Metz Handball. The young French coach is satisfied in his club with whom he is going strong at Women’s EHF Champions League campaign this season.

Club’s president Thierry Weizman, who made this renewal his priority, did not hide his satisfaction:

“Manu is one of the best coaches in the world and it is a great joy to keep him with us. It embodies the recent development of the club and the European success of Metz. With him at the head of the team, I feel like I can go to the end of the world. ”

Mayonnade was also happy to stay in Metz:

“There were opportunities indeed, but they were less interesting than the challenge waiting for me here. With Thierry we discussed a lot and I felt that they needed me and that they wanted to keep me to make the structure grow. The story I live here is extraordinary, I love the people around me at Metz Handball. “
