Limoges defeated Montpellier 31:30, moving directly into the French title race. For the first time after 14 league matches, the home side managed to beat the two-time EHF Champions League winners. Arnau Garcia led the scorers for the winners with five goals, while goalkeeper Dino Slavić made eight saves.
