One of the most experienced left wings at VELUX EHF Champions League, Luka Žvižej wrote the new chapter of Slovenian handball history in the second friendly match against Macedonia 23:23 (first 28:28), which has been played in Celje on Tuesday. RK Celje Pivovarna Laško captain played his 212nd match for the national team and became the No.1 in number of appearances alongside legendary goalkeeper Beno Lapajne.
Žvižej will have chance to overtake the first place only for himself on Friday, when Croatia and Slovenia will meet in Ivanic Grad.
