Maik Machulla is first pick to overtake Aalborg Handbold?

According to Danish TV2.dk, German coach Maik Machulla is the first candidate to overtake position of Aalborg Handbold coach after departure of Stefan Madsen.
Since club announced that successful coach will leave Aalborg at the end of the season after 10 years in the club, a list of candidates in media began to grow, but ex-SG Flensburg Handewitt coach is obviously the most serious choice in the moment.
Machulla won two Bundesliga titles in 2018 and 2019 with SG Flensburg where he was in charge as the first coach between 2017 and 2023.
