Veselin Vujovic at RK Nexe promotion: I didn’t come here to be second in Croatia

Veselin Vujovic overtook the position of RK Nexe coach. The Croatian vice-champions sacked Branko Tamse after defeat 38:33 at the start of domestic Play-Off against MRK Sesvete.
Experienced 63-years old coach will now have difficult task to chase Zagreb on domestic stage and bring first-ever trophy in Nasice. In EHF European League, where RK Nexe played Final4 2022, Croatian team will have “match point” against Savehof in Sweden next Tuesday for direct placement at quarter-final.
“I didn’t come here to be second in Croatia. Vice-champion can be anyone. We will all work in direction to bring the first Championship ever for this part of Croatia”, said Vujovic at the first press conference.
