Marcus Baur to leave Frisch Auf Goppingen at the end of season

German coach Marcus Baur didn’t get contract extension in Frisch Auf Goppingen.
Although good result at EHF European League last season, when traditional Bundesliga team ended third at Final4 event in Flensburg, Goppingen are struggling in the best handball league in the world for the second season in a row.
Currently, FA Goppingen are at position No.16, at the edge of relegation zone with only 9 points from 14 matches.
This was definitely the biggest factor for such a decision of the Management, who will present new coach for the season 2024/2025.
Baur overtook position of the club’s coach in December 2022.
