Marko Kopljar six weeks out!

Croatian NT captain Marko Kopljar will rest in the next six weeks. The 30-years old FC Barcelona Lassa right back get injured during the ASOBAL Match against Frigoricos Morraza 30:22. According prognosis his knee will be ready for handball in six weeks. That is the reason for a head-coach of Xavi Pascual in Barcelona, but also Croatian NT coach Željko Babić.

Croatia prepare for Olympic Games qualification tournament in Denmark between 8th and 10th of April. Denmark, Norway and Bahrain will be the rivals for two places which lead to Rio.

Babić already can’t count on Luka Stepančić (knee) from PPD Zagreb, who will miss rest of the season. Other candidates to get a chance on right back position are Mario Vuglač (Lekhwya Qatar), Šime Ivić (HBC Nantes) and Luka Šebetić, who had debut at EHF EURO 2016 in Poland.
