Former HSV Handball coach Martin Schwalb could be a replacement for Antonio Carlos Ortega, write media across Europe. The 52 years-old German who built his coaching career with the team from Hamburg, is the first favorite for the “hot” bench in the handball city of Veszprem.
Schwalb made the biggest success with HSV by winning the VELUX EHF Champions League 2012/2013 with spectacular finish in Cologne. Before the major European success, HSV Handball won DKB Bundesliga in season 2010/2011 with him on the bench.
Schwalb (52) suffered heart-attack at the end of cooperation with team from Hamburg. Since then, he is working as an expert of German SKY.
