The all-time most successful coach of some national team, Claude Onesta, could leave the French bench after World Championship 2017 in France. The next major prestigious handball event will be held in the country of the handball rulers, which level of domination in all categories is something which hasn’t been seen in the handball history.

But, before he takes decision about which he thinks “every day” as he stated for the French media, Onesta has to deal with some new challenges as EHF EURO 2016 in Poland and Olympic tournament in Rio next summer, for which France is already qualified as World Champions from Qatar 2015.

The 58 years old coach overtook the French national team in 2011 from Daniel Constantini. He won two Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012, three European and World gold medals.
