The Croatian team RK Nexe Nasice had an interesting winter transfer period. After Ivan Srsen joined PICK Szeged on loan until the end of the season, the Croatian vice-champions reinforced roster with another lefthander, however, not right back but right wing – experienced Slovenian Matjaz Brumen.
The 35-years old Brumen terminated his contract with RK Gorenje Velenje, so he came to Nasice as a free agent.
Brumen has fantastic career behind himself. He was a part of RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko squad in 2004, when Slovenian team achieved the biggest success – winning EHF Champions League trophy.
He also played in golden period of RK Cimos Koper, but also at RK Vardar Skopje until summer 2016.
