Serbian NT prepares for the Olympic Games in the Center of Serbian Football Federation in Stara Pazova, 30 km from Belgrade. After 12 days on Kopaonik mountain, in this phase of preparations, NT coach Veselin Vukovic has to announce squad for London. He has 21 players right now in the squad. The friendly matches with Hungary in Kanjiza and Tunisia in Smederevo will be decisive for that decision. One of the “secure travelers” to London is team’s captain, Momir Ilic:
– We are working well. Of course, we are tired, a little bit nervous, but that is all normall. The most important thing is that we don’t have problem with injuries. I am sure that on 29 of July Serbia will be totally ready to give 100%. It’ is not realistic to prognose, but it is realistic that we can reach 1/4 Final in London. We can beat all teams from our Group, but I think that the biggest problem for us is Denmark – commented the Serbian captain ambitions of second European NT in this moment. He also speak about the “stars”, which he would like to meet in Olympic village:
– Of course, as others, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, but also I would like to meet Jelena Isinbayeva.
