Norwegian Handball Federation announced significant rise in number of members. More than 2.500 people more play Handball in 2012 than a year before. From 2.1 million of Norwegians in all sports federations, about 108.000 playing Handball. In that number womens consist about 66%, while in all sports, number of girls is about 40%. In Norway exist about 700 teams.
