Olympic qualifications 2024: Slovenian buzzer beater, strong Norway, Croatia on fire at Sigurdsson’s debut

Favorites took the points at the start of the Olympic qualifications tournaments all around Europe on Thursday. The most interesting match has been seen in Granollers, where Slovenia beat Brasil 27:26 with the buzzer beater of right wing Domen Novak.

The debut of Dagur Sigurdsson as the coach of Croatia was successful against Austria 35:29 which had no response against strong defensive line-up and great performance of goalkeeper’s duo Mandic-Kuzmanovic.

Norway beat Portugal 32:29 to start qualification tournament successfuly in Tatabanya, where three European teams will have a lot more to show…
