PARIS 2024: Uscins’ time for German win over Sweden
Germany began well at the Olympics 2024 in Paris!
The team of Alfred Gislason beat one of the strongest rosters in the world of handball – bronze medalist from the last Men’s EHF EURO 2024, Sweden 30:27 (12:11).
Scandinavian squad was in balace in the first 40 minutes (20:20), when German defense did well, but also youngstar on right back position, junior world champion with generation 2002, Renars Uscins (8 goals in total). Germans were without Yuri Knorr who was sent off after rough foul in the first half.
Andreas Palicka and Andreas Wollf had fantastic first half, but in second half good shooters prevailed.
