Paul Drux ended career

The captain of Fuchse Berlin and a member of the German national team suffered a serious knee injury last week, which will turn out to be the end of his handball career. This news was confirmed by the leaders of the club from the capital of Germany, as well as the first man of the “Berlin foxes” Bob Hanning. Surely the way the 29-year-old guard ended his career is one of the most painful for a professional player. The coach of the Berliners, Jaron Siewert, did not hide his expressed indignation.

“Paul has been involved in shaping this club for more than a decade. With his departure, the handball scene loses a player who achieved a lot for Fuchse but also for German handball,” the young expert pointed out.

This dramatic news was followed up by the sports director of the club, Stefan Kretszchmar”All of us are hurt by the fact that we lost him on the field. Despite this, I think and hope that he will find himself in another position in the club and remain a part of our association,” said the legendary Kretzschmar.

Paul Drux served Berlin for 13 years, making 127 appearances for the national team and scoring 214 goals.

It is inevitable that Paul will be missed by the handball player, and the most important thing right now is that the recovery after the operation is going well.

Paul, get well soon!
