The last year it was surprise, but this September in Doha was just a conclusion of the fact that Fuchse Berlin have a great roster. A real mix of domestic youngstars, Balkan magic and Scandi experience with Icelander on the bench, were enough for another IHF Super Globe title. But, “Foxes” now want more, fourth place in DKB BUndesliga which will put them closer to the VELUX EHF Champions League:
- I haven’t play better than in the last season, but I have never play in better team since Barcelona in 2007. Everything was great, a good team, good atmosphere, but the last season is now history – said for Balkan-Handball.com, DKB Bundesliga 2015/2016 topscorer, Petar Nenadic.
- We want to attack fourth place in German league, but I can’t tell you how are the biggest rivals in that run, as you can see that every team can beat anyone from top to the bottom. We have good schedule, so our aim is to take as much as we can points at the start. Wetzlar, Melsungen, Goppingen are in that group of teams. I expect that 8-10 teams from the last season stay in the upper part.
Nenadic gives a small advantage to Rhein Neckar Lowen in the battle for Championship…
- Kiel, Flensburg and RNL will play in three competition, so who has better health, less injuries and more strict priorities, will be closer to the trophy. I would give a small advantage to Lowen as they keep the roster with stronger goalkeeper.
