The biggest star of French handball and World’s Best Player for 2009 (IHF), Alison Pineau, signed yesterday a two-years deal with the Romanian champion, Oltchim RM Valcea. The midback of Metz and the French national team is recovering from an knee injury she got during the World C’ship in Brazil, and in the past few weeks been in the center of attention as she announced she will be leaving Metz. The club she chose is Oltchim, the always-ambitious club that is trying to gather a squad that will finally bring the Champions League trophy to Romania.
