PROJECT 2025: Melvyn Richardson to Orlen Wisla Plock
Another big news for Polish city of Plock. One of the best lefthanders in the world of handball, French star Melvyn Richardson is coming to Plock in summer 2025 after four years in FC Barcelona. The 27-years old right back had amazing professonal journey with three Champions League trophies as member of French Montpellier Handball (2018) and Barca in 2022 and 2024.
– I am extremely excited to announce that the Oilers will be joined by a player of Melvyn Richardson’s tremendous talent and renown. This is a transfer that definitely shows our ambitious plans for the future of the Płock team, as well as our determination to fight for the highest goals in Poland and Europe. Melvyn will bring to ORLEN Wisła Płock his skills and experience at the highest level, but also a winning mentality, which is extremely important in key moments of the season.
