Rasmus Lauge is new Veszprem’s captain

The team captain of Telekom Veszprém for the upcoming 2021/22 season is Rasmus Lauge, the vice-captains are Máté Lékai and Andreas Nilsson. This trio is appointed by head-coach Momir Ilic.

According to our captain, Rasmus Lauge, it is a great joy and honour to be named a leader of the team. We asked about his new appointment, the upcoming challenges and his role within the team.

For me, being the captain of Telekom Veszprém, is a great joy and honour; this is a huge milestone in my Veszprém career. The last time we spoke, my personality came up, how I view myself and I mentioned how I want to lead by example, with my attitude and determination. I am delighted, that now I can do all these things as team captain. Now comes the first, most important step for me, our first step if you like; which is making my comeback to the pitch. I don’t plan to change anything about myself. I only want to help the team, with an extra dose of motivation, to get back on the right path, back to winning ways.
