Between the battles against Płock and a match against THW Kiel, Vive Targi Kielce arrived in Mielec to face local Stal. Polish champions had to manage without injured Uroš Zorman but they were backed by Karol Bielecki who had not had many chances to play lately. Kielce had the game under control since the very beginning; they gained an advantage during first minutes. It was a good performance of Thorir Olafsson who relieved Ivan Čupić on the court in the first half and became top scorer with 11 goals. In the end Kielce defeated Stal Mielec 38:31 and remain on the top of the league table.
