First choice for left back in Serbian national team, Sanja Damjanovic (24) will sign one season contract with Croatian champion, Podravka Koprivnica. Damnjanovic talked with a few teams, one of them was Hungarian DVSC, but left back of Serbian champion, Zajecar, decided to move to the EHF CL’s team.
Podravka is named as TOP 12 team in Europe. That is why former EHF CL champion qualifed directly for the competition in season 2011/2012.
Interesting fact is that Serbia and Croatia will fight eachother for the WC Brasil 2011 VISA in June’s qualification stage.
