First choice for left back in Serbian national team, Sanja Damnjanovic (24) is very close to signing contract with Hungarian vice-champion and EHF Champions League competitor, DVSC Korvex. Team from Debrecen had bad season in EHF CL, where they finished last in the Preliminary Group with just single win over Hypo and five defeats. In Hungarian championship, DVSC Korvex is still in the battle for the Play-Off Final, where wait a favorite, Gyor.
Last two seasons, Damnjanovic is playing in Zaječar, with whom won two Championships title and become the best player of Serbian Super Liga. A year before, she spent in Krim Mercator. She played for Serbian NT at EURO 2006, 2008 and 2010. All of this competitions, Serbia finished after Preliminary Round.
