Having come through the ranks of IK Sävehof in Sweden, Sebastian Karlsson had his first experience abroad at the age of 17, playing for Spanish team Gades in 2012-2013. He then returned to the club of his beginnings for a ten-year period, winning two league titles, a Swedish Cup and an EHF Challenge Cup.
The right winger was elected to the Swedish championship’s “All Star Team” in 2022 and 2023, before becoming a Montpellier Handball player. He will leave the Hérault club in a few months to join Paris Saint-Germain Handball.
