The French runners-up Montpellier Handball have celebrated important win over Telekom Veszprem 23:18 (11:10) in the Round 3 of the VELUX EHF Champions League. This time, the hero of the winning team was Croatian goalkeeper Marin Sego, who had outstanding performance with 20 saves (54%) providing fans in Montpellier the best possible experience, like he did in Szeged, when his previous team won the Hungarian championship after 11 years break in 2018.
Melvyn Richardsson was TOP scorer with eight goals.
This was the second defeat in a row for Hungarian champions after home fall against THW Kiel last week.
