Management Board of Slovenian Handball Federation decided to sack coach of women’s national team, Ivica Rimanić (Croatia), after bad, but also expected results at the last EHF EURO 2010 in Scandinavia, where Slovenia “won” last – 16th place. In competition with Norway, France and Hungary, nobody expected something more than three defeats, but still the leaders of Slovenian handball thinks different.
For a new coach of NT, rumours says that former coach of many Slovenian teams and NT, Tone Tiselj is already “seen”.
Also, a new Secretary General of national federation was elected. His name is Mitja Gobec.
