Spain on the way to repeat epic “Benga boys” success!
Spain will have a chance to repeat the success of famous Swedish “Benga boys” (1998, 2000 and 2002) by winning the third consecutive EHF EURO gold medal on Sunday in Budapest. Spaniards have been four goals down in the first half, but in the second, defense was on totally another level led by outstanding Gonzalo Perez de Vargas.
Man of the match was right wing Aleix Gomez with 11 goals.
This is the fourth Final in a row for Spain since 2016, when they lost against Germany in Krakow.
