Macedonian TOP team and Women’s EHF Champions League finalists – ZRK Vardar Skopje will face a huge changes at the end of the season. The whole team will be renovated, TOP stars like Lekic, Penezic, Leynaud, Cvijic are free to leave Skopje, while talented girls from club’s school will take their places in the first squad.
- It’s trtue that we will have lower ambitions for the next season. ZRK Vardar Skopje invest a lot in young girls born in 2002 and 2004, so we want to make a team consisted of domestic players which will be capable to play at Women’s EHF EURO 2024 – hosted by Macedonia, said club’s director Gordana Naceva for Sportmedia.mk.
- We told girls for our plans at the beginning of January. All of them has enough time to secure their future, to find new team for the upcoming season. I am happy to see how big proffesionals they are on the last two matches. Our biggest wish is to win EHF Champions League in May – concluded Naceva.
