Sweden announce squad for the 2025 WCh, Axner: We are going for a medal

“Our vision is to give everything to take the final step and fight for medals,” said head coach Tomas Axnér when presenting Sweden’s 16-player roster for the World Championship in Germany.
Sweden will start the preliminary round in Stuttgart, facing Czech Republic, Cuba, and Brazil before potentially meeting Norway in Dortmund in the main round.
“We respect all our opponents, but we are confident in our strong and experienced squad. We go to Germany to compete for a place at the Final Weekend,” Axnér stated.
