TOKYO 2020: France and Spain made their way to the semifinals!
In the opening quarterfinal match at the Olympics, France had an easy job against Bahrain, 42:28 (21:14), while Spain won another thriller and also advanced to the semis. European champion defeated Sweden 34:33 (18:20), even though they were down four (29:25), 12 minutes before the end.
France will face the better side from the Germany-Egypt clash, while Spain’s opponent will be Denmark or Norway.
