1.BM ATLETICO MADRID

„Zebras“ weren’t so good against Partizan 36:28 in the last match in the Champions League, but that is a feature of big teams – If they play bad, they still can win. And they do that in the Bundesliga,where THW has fantastic 13 wins in a row. In the Champions League, only one mistake against Montpellier, tough away match and the draw in Leon, but Kiel still has chance to win the group.
3. F.C BARCELONA
Barcelona is always the favorite in the Handball World. Current EHF Champions League and ASOBAL winner, after fantastic season is again serious contender for all of that. Barca lost Super Cup against Madrid, but has the same score in the ASOBAL, 10 from 10 and in the EHF Champions League, the best score after five matches, 5 wins in the group, where away match in Zagreb was probably to worst possible experience…
4. HC METALURG
Surprise, surprise, but after two years of reconstruction, big work and a lot of problems, Lino Cervar made in Skoplje the TEAM. That team is currently second in the EHF CL Group C and has very good chances to stay there until TOP 16 phase. Stabil financial situation, good Management, 6000 people in the Hall at the last match against Constanta are fantastic base for Cervar’s future work. Metalurg is one of the leader in a new formed SEHA League, with no defeats, only draw against two Croatian teams, C.O Zagreb and Nexe
5. AG COPENHAGEN
Super Team from Copenhagen is now ready to show TOP handball to Europe. In Denmark, 10-1-1, in the Champions League three wins and last defeat in Leon. That is quite good result for the team on his debut in the European Elite. Tough Group in the EHF CL is the real challenge for the Danish team, but place in TOP 16 is secure. How far they can go is early to predict…
6. PICK SZEGED
Maybe they aren’t to strong, in the Group with Kiel, Copenhagen, Leon and Montpellier, they aren’t for sure, but guys from Pick Szeged are fighting like a Lions. Pick Szeged beats Montpellier three days ago and showed that despite modest squad all the favorites can be beaten in Hungary as MKB Veszprem in Hungarian Championship, where Pick got a derby after almost four years…
7. C.O ZAGREB
Ivica Obrvan is a good coach, definitely. His hand in the playing style of C.O Zagreb giving results at the start of the season. Only two draws in the SEHA League and only one defeat in the EHF Champions League with one goal difference against F.C Barcelona we can call „Good Job“. Stronger competition in SEHA gives a lot of positive things to C.O Zagreb, one of the League’s lobbyist. With Balic and Spiler artistic knowledge and some younger forces, C.O Zagreb maybe can reach TOP 8 and that will be fantastic result…
8. MONTPELLIER
What to say about the French Champion. Montpellier conquered Kiel and then lost points in Szeged. “Warm-Cold” games for their fans. With Karabatic and Co, and we have to mention, a “new gladiator”, Accambray, Montpellier is always contender for the F4. In French League, easy, 9 from 9…
9. HC PARTIZAN
Firstly, Partizan surprised Tatran and Porto at the Qualification Tournament and brought back EHF Champions League to handball nation, Serbia, after three long years in a season, when Serbia will be host of the EHF EURO 2012.
