U18 EHF EURO 2026: Germany score 48, Slovenian comeback after -7
The opening round of the M18 EHF EURO 2026 in Belgrade produced several closely contested matches. One of them took place in Banjica, where Slovenia came back from seven goals down against North Macedonia. Trailing 22:15 in the 35th minute, Slovenia turned the match around to win 33:30.
Hungary, Spain and Portugal also recorded narrow victories, while Croatia faced a demanding challenge against a resilient Israel side before winning 33:29.
