Vardar Skopje coach resigns

In a similar scenario as the one with Serdarusic, where he first left the national team and then Celje Pivovarna Lasko, the same episode is happening with Macedonia and HC Vardar, The already former coach of Macedonia, Ljubomir Savevski, now resigns from his post in HC Vardar in a mutual termination of the deal, also confirmed by the President of the club.

It all started on Monday, when Savevski suspended Borko Ristovski, the goalkeeper. The rest of the players first didn’t want to do the night training, but in the end they did it. However on Tuesday, this didn’t happen, and all the handball players decided to do a collective boycott of the training, and wait the decision of the President of the club regarding this situation. After the meeting, it was decided that for the good of the team, Savevski resigns.

This is the second time Savevski is forced to resign. First with the national team, after the Metalurg players boycott, and now the story happens in HC Vardar.  The temporary decision will be Stojan Petrusevski, who is actively involved with the younger categories of the club, and by next Monday the person that will take Savevski’s place should be known.
