Veszprém Crush Szeged in Hungarian Derby
In the derby of the Hungarian championship between two teams that secured places in the EHF Champions League quarter-finals, Veszprém confirmed that they are in top form. Xavi Pascual’s side rose to the occasion at the key moment of the season, eliminated PSG in the Last 12, and also showed their superiority against their biggest domestic rival, Pick Szeged, winning 30:24, even though it had already been clear beforehand who would finish first in the regular season.
