The Portuguese national team has reached the semifinals of a major tournament for the first time in its history.

The herald of Portugal’s new wave, Martim Costa, found the net just five seconds before the end of the second overtime, sealing the fate of Andreas Wolff and securing a showdown with the Danes for a spot in the final in Oslo.
