The Slovenian Cup tournament was also attended by the Serbian coach Vladan Matic. Speculations go that far to claim that he will be the new coach of Celje for the next season, but the board of directors of Celje still hasn’t made any official statement, and therefore officially it is still unknown who will it be for the next season, although it all points to Matic.
He was seen in company with Tomaz Jersic, board member, and also accompanied by Veselin Vukovic, the Serbian national team coach. With them he watched Celje winning the third place of the Cup, defeating Ribnica, and also got the chance to watch the players of Celje, although he already had experience with Luka Zvizej.
Matic will have about one million and five hundred thousand euros budget next year, and will have Zuran, Zelenovic and Skok at disposal, along with Toskic and Metlicic.
