Vojvodina Zeleznicar wins for the third time the Cup of Serbia (2005,2006). They beat Red Star in the final with 22:21 (13:14) in front of their own fans in Novi Sad. Vladimir Cupkovic scored a goal 15 seconds before the end, and this brought the possibility for Vojvodina to represent Serbia in the Cup Winners’ Cup next season. Even though Red Star was in lead the whole game, in the end the home team celebrated in a game with a lot of harsh fouls and hard play.
