Györi Audi ETO KC will start their title defence in the Women’s EHF Champions League in Group A with Thüringer HC, Hypo NÖ and a qualifier from Group 3. The draw of the Group Matches on Friday at the Gloriette in Vienna defined all four groups of this stage.
In Group B the 2012 winners Buducnost Podgorica will meet FC Midtjylland, MKS Lublin and Qualifier 2. The last year runners-up and 2011 trophy holders Larvik HK will play in Group C with the newcomers Balonmano Bera Bera, HC Podravka Vegeta and Qualifier 4 and Slovenian giant RK Krim Mercator will face Metz Handball, IK Sävehof and Qualifier 1 in Group C.
The first round of the Group Matches is scheduled for 5/6 October and only two best teams from each group will qualify for the next stage – Main Round.
