European Beach Handball Championship U 18 came to the end. Once again, one of the top power of Global Beach Handball Hungary showed that they work fantastic with young categories in both gender.
First, in girls final, Hungary won against Russia 2:0 (18:9, 20:16). Digging for gold was more difficult job for their male coleagues that won against home team Spain, that was supported by full crowd on the central court on the main square of Lorca. Hungary won 2:1 (9:8 in shoot-out).
Bronze medal winners are girls of Spain (victory 2:0 over Turkey) and guys of Russia (2:0 against Croatia).
Championship is over, now it is time for analysis and evaluation, but on first site, we found “3 pts” rule (for “in flight” goals) as unsuccessful, rule that didn’t help Beach Handball become faster and more attractiv.
