The handball players of Zajecar will experience even more problems when they go to Volgograd (1/4 Final Cup Winners Cup second match). Apart from a welcome temperature of “-15”, and having to overcome the “-3” deficit from Serbia (28:31), they will be playing without some of their best players, the Spanish Marta Mangue, and the Romanian Teresa Pislaru. They stayed at the airport in Sofia, and were unable to get Russian visa in time, and will be forced to go back home to Zajecar.
Another problem happened when the team arrived in Moscow, as the passport control took about an hour to check the documents of the two Croatian internationals, Aneta Peraica and Martina Pavic, time which they spent playing games with dices.
