Zarko Markovic in Al Ahly (Saudi Arabia)

Right back of Montenegrin national team and former player of Cepelin, Jugovic Kac, MKB Veszprem, VfL Gummersbach and Buducnost Podgorica, Zarko Markovic (24) sign seven months contract with the champion of Saudi Arabia, Al Ahly. Informations from Montenegrin PRESS telling about a figure of 150.000 EUR (salary).  Markovic was one of the most talented lefthanded players in his generation (won U 18 World and European Championships with Serbia and Montenegro in generation with Sesum and Nenadic), but he didn’t aprove that in senior competition. After a little playing time in MKB Veszprem in couple with Marko Vujin, Markovic spent just a few weeks in Vfl Gummersbach, before he moved to Podgorica in summer 2009. Season in Buducnost is ended by team bankrupt, after he stayed without a team, until now.
