HARD TO WATCH: Tears of Piotr Wyszomirski

Some moments in TOP sports aren’t so nice to watch and, of course, they are not explainable. One of this seconds, when your heart looks like broken happened after bronze medal match in Rio, when Piotr Wyszomirski couldn’t keep his eyes dry.

The one of the biggest positive surprises of the Olympic knock-out stage, the 28 years goalkeeper of TBV Lemgo who helped Poland to get possibility to play for the medals ahead of Croatia and was the best in semi-final match against Germany, couldn’t cope with disappointment after all in mix-zone during statement for the national TV.

Poland ended out of three-level podium, on the fourth place. Germany was clearly better in the bronze medal match puting Poles on the worst possible position at the end of Olympic cycle.

The only Olympic medal by the Eagles have been won in Montreal 1976. Dujshebaev and his players will have to wait at least 44 years. Tokyo is in four years time.

“Keep head up, Piotr”…
