EHF EURO 2026: Sweden beat Croatia at the end of Preliminary Round

Sweden’s national team defeated Croatia 33:25 (17:13) in the final match of the preliminary round at EHF EURO 2026.
There was no real suspense in Malmö, where the European champions from 2022 overcame the reigning world runners-up. Erik Johansson and penalty taker Nikola Roganović scored five goals each for the winners, while Zvonimir Srna led Croatia with seven.
In the group’s earlier match, the Netherlands beat Georgia 31:26, securing a place in the top pot for the 2027 World Championship play-off draw.
