For the second time in his career (after 2009/2010) Anders Eggert (31) been named for the best Danish player in the annual vote of all League and Division 1 players and Danes in foreign clubs.
A Contest is organized Handball Players Association of Danish Handball Federation and men’s national team’s partner talkredit.
Fantastic left wing of SG Flensburg won impressive 46.21 percent of the votes cast – almost twice as many as Niklas Landin, with 23.45 percent and Henrik Møllgaard who came third.
“It’s obviously a great honor to be awarded as distinguished an honor by his colleagues, and I am both proud and humbled,” says Anders Eggert, who received the award at an informal gathering in the team’s three-day session in Sønderborg.
