The Serbian Handball Federation stated earlier today that one of the biggest stars of the women’s handball – Andrea Lekic will miss the upcoming Women’s World Handball Championship 2019 in Japan.
The 32-years old Serbian playmaker and member of CSM Bucharest has suffered serious injury of eardrum, which had to be treated surgicaly.
“Surgery went well, thank you all”, wrote Andrea on her Facebook profile.
“She will be out of serious handball for the next three weeks”, said Phd. Milenko Savic.
Lekic suffered injury during match of her team in Rostov last Saturday.
