Newcomers to the ASOBAL, the team of Benidorm, made another surprise as they beat BM Cangas at home in the beginning of the third round matches. After a very low-scoring 12:12 first half, the home team accelerated the game in the second half, and helped by the domestic fans, clinched a victory over BM Cangas with 30:27, and had their second win in a row.
In the other two matches on Friday, the home teams took the victories as well. Villa de Aranda had an easy job against BM Aragon with 33:24, while BM Huesca beat Cuenca with 28:21.
