The big Austrian derby between host Bregenz and rivals Alpla Hard brought us a very interesting derby match, which went in favour of the home team. The hosts had a really great first half, totally dominating Alpla Hard and quickly making 6:2 lead, and went at the half time break with 17:11. Alpla Hard managed to get as close as 22:20 in the second half, but had no power to turn the match in their favour, and had to concede a 29:26 defeat to Bregenz.
Bregenz are now topping the table with a point more than Alpla Hard.
