Bjerringbro-Silkeborg want to leave Turkey with two points

The Danish team Bjerringbro-Silkeborg is currently on a first place in both the national league in Denmark and in Group C in VELUX EHF Champions League.

Their latest victory in the Champions League was on their home court in JYSK arena in Silkeborg against the young team from HC Metalurg, and this Saturday they meet Besiktas from Turkey.

“We knew it would be a tough game against Metalurg. Especially in the first half it was a tough match. It was a match where we kept fighting and believing in the way we played. It was an important victory, and we look forward to the next game in Champions League,” said Peter Bredsdorff-Larsen, the coach from Bjerringbro-Silkeborg after the match against Metalurg.

Besiktas has four points before Round 5, and Bjerringbro-Silkeborg has six points. They hope to get two more so they can advance from the group.

The match between Besiktas and Bjerringbro-Silkeborg throws off on Saturday the 13th of October at 15.10 pm. It will be broadcastet on the Danish tv-channel DR1 from 14.50 pm.
