Croatian star Ivan Sliskovic will try to comeback to the handball world after 15 months of struggling with a mononucleous virus. For his “new beginning”, the 26-years old left back choose wel-known place – Celje, where he already spent two fantastic seasons between 2013 and 2015, afterwards he signed four-years contract with Hungarian best team Telekom Veszprem.
Sliskovic played his last match in Croatian jersey at Olympic Games in Rio, since his troubles began. He was fighting with virus through the whole last season, at the end, his separated his way with Telekom Veszprem, where he had aa great intro season 2015/2016.
Sliskovic played at RK Nexe Nasice before move to RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko in 2013.
His first big event for Croatia was at Men’s EHF EURO 2014 in Denmark. Since then, he was a regular member of the successful national team.
