Famous Serbian goalkeeper Darko Stanic (36) will play in DKB Bundesliga until end of the season. Stanic was without club last month since he left RK Metalurg Skopje by mutual agreement with the Macedonian champions. His next proffesional challenge will be German SG BBM Bietigheim, writes Balkan-Handball.com. The team from the bottom of the DKB Bundesliga had enough good offer to take the service of one of the best European goalies in the last few years.
Bietigheim is currently the last team in the German elite with only two points from 11 matches. Stanic will help in the tough relegation battle until summer 2015.
Stanic’s destiny is to play in Germany. He was close to come to FA Goppingen in the summer 2012 (contract was signed), but RK Metalurg have found a way to keep him by paying fee to Germans and giving them Montenegrian right back Žarko Marković.
